Safeguarding Officer
Scale F
Term time, plus one week 35 hours a week Permanent Required ASAP
Are you looking for a job that will make a real difference to children's lives?
We are looking to appoint a Safeguarding Officer to become part of our amazing school community. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Headteacher and have five fully trained Designated Leads to work alongside.
Duties will include

Day to day co-ordination of safeguarding concerns from across the school
Attending meetings for individual cases, including case conferences
Responding to situations where intervention is necessary for the well-being of the child
Building relationships with children and their families Writing up reports to share with other professionals
Being responsible for keeping and updating records as agreed with the SLT
Communicating with teachers and families
You must
Be resilient
Be a team player
Have a good working knowledge and understanding of developing social interaction skills with children and adults
Have experience of working on your own with vulnerable children
Understand the importance of work life balance
Be inclusive and believe every child can succeed.
You could
Have experience of working on safeguarding issues
Have relevant and up to date training
